The 5 Cs of career preservation

You absolutely do not want your line manager to start questioning your value to the organisation.   The safest way to ensure that you are never at the head of the redundancy queue is to help other people.  Let me give you 5 ways to do this:

1 Collaborating - working together with others on any activity or project that is mutually beneficial to your colleagues and your organisation as a whole.

2 Communicating - verbally imparting or passing on information, news or ideas; conveying nonverbal emotions or feelings.

3 Contributing - giving your time and effort in order to make something happen or come about; giving your views in a discussion or meeting.

4 Cooperating - assisting other people; complying with their requests; supporting others as you help them to achieve common goals.

5 Coordinating - bringing the different elements of a complex activity into a smooth interrelationship; negotiating how to work harmoniously together.

Protect your future by implementing the 5 Cs.
