We did a survey in the early 'noughties' asking 500 people three questions related to their most recent role.

Are you interested in what you do at work?
Are you competent doing what you do at work?
Is your current working environment consistent with the way you prefer to behave?

The results showed us that only 9% felt they thrived at work and looked forward to Monday mornings! I wonder what Covid has done to the numbers?
